Gift Shop facilitates the POS needs specifically for museum gift stores.  Prominent features of the system include: Ability to scan Explorer-printed barcode labels for all store items quickly at the check out counter. Find items for sale by name, Item #, or UPC Code.  Member and high-dollar donor discounts. Track member purchases and send catalogs or flyers to members who have purchased items.   Apply a variety of discounts, such as Teacher, Staff, Volunteer, or Internal Sales.  Track internal departmental sales, such as birthday party goodie bags, and produce end of the month itemized accounting reports for interdepartmental funds transfers. Manager overrides for price and quantity on hand during check out allows immediate adjustment for incorrect inventory data.

Explorer Gift Shop includes many useful and automated functions, such as automatic seasonal reorder points, ability to manually include or exclude items from the automated reorder list.  Customized Purchase Order forms, choices of ordering methods (email, fax or regular mail), order cancellation dates, full or partial check-in of received orders and the ability to cancel orders not received. Powerful and comprehensive fully-customizable reports, including profit/loss statements, top sellers, slow movers, detailed cashier reports, purchase history by customer, detailed sales-tax reports. Explorer Gift Shop is integrated with all other Explorer modules.  This integration eliminates duplicate data entry, provides time savings, fewer errors, and better data and customer management.
