Group Sales: Birthday Parties and Tours

Explorer Group Sales allows you to either sell public events at group rates or schedule and sell 'group only' events, such as Behind the Scenes Tours, Birthday Parties or Special Lectures.  Group Sales ensures that you will always know which groups are arriving on any given day and time, including their complete schedule. Cashiers booking new group visits will readily see which programs and times are available for each date, and which programs are sold out.  Never again double book or schedule a group when a program, venue, or instructor is unavailable. Quickly search for dates with specific program availability, for example, find all ‘group’ events with at least 100 seats left.  You may define each program as 'multi-group permitted' when you want to sell all seats to multiple groups, or you may define each program as 'one-group permitted' when only one group may attend at a time, even if there are still seats left.  You may schedule events such as Birthday Parties on demand, while the patron is on the phone, and then book the patron directly into the party.

Using Explorer Group Sales, you can identify and report on detailed group information, such as: contact name and phone, special needs, and arrival and departure times. You can even associate promotions with each sale, such as coupons or mailings, and then track the effectiveness of those promotions in reports. An unlimited number of confirmation letters may be defined and then printed directly from the sale or in bulk at the end of each day.  It’s easy to request and apply deposits in advance of the admission date. If extra people arrive or fewer show up than expected on the day of, adjusting the sale is simple and your changes immediately update the total price for the group. It’s just as straightforward to cancel or void a sale if the group does not attend at all. Comprehensive reports will allow you to track all of this information.
