School Admissions: Educating the Future

Explorer School Sales allows school groups to schedule into the classes your museum offers.  Each year millions of school children attend museums across the country.  Many thousands or hundreds of thousands may attend your particular museum.  As a result, it is extremely important to be able to quickly and efficiently manage these groups and their numbers, take reservations, send out confirmation letters, invoice, then admit quickly when the group arrives.

Explorer provides the most comprehensive package for school groups available. We take school group reservations one step further by tracking attendance by school, district, county, town, grade, and year. This information is invaluable when it comes to sending out the next year's school catalog, or applying for necessary grant money.

  • Classes:  Schedule school groups into school-only classes and optionally allow them to book into a variety of public events.
  • Instructors:  You can assign a instructors to teach only the classes they are qualified to teach. Instructors can print out daily schedules to see which groups are attending, how many students, grade level, teacher contact information and a variety of other special information regarding the nature of the group.
  • Reservations Include:  Number of students, teacher contact information, arrival/departure times, special needs, grant, minority, and district information.
  • Attendance reports and daily schedules will provide staff with advanced notice of pending arrivals and expected visitorship.
  • Send brochures to a teacher’s home or school with upcoming class and event information.
  • Invoice schools directly from the reservation using customized invoices.  Take deposits or partial payments and modify the group numbers upon arrival with ease.
  • Add classes where needed.  The system won’t double book, if a request for a time and event arises, schedule it with ease.
  • Know which schools are sending kids, which are not.  See at a glance the entire attendance history of a grade, school, or school district.  Track homeschool visits.
  • Event-specific confirmation letters may be custom designed to meet your specific needs.
  • Track minority data, lunch room activity, school district, and special needs.
  • Optionally print receipts, tickets or one voucher per group.

Additional Features:

Check availability by day of the week, date, time of day, size of class, grade, type of class, department, or a combination of any of the above.

Find the reservation by teacher name, date, transaction number, school name, address, or phone.

Real-time updating: When one reservation is made availability for the entire system is updated to eliminate double-booking.
